Sushi Yoko: Reviews & Ratings
I visited Sushi Yoko for lunch. They have a great variety of lunch menu options, and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. The food was served quickly as well. The taste was excellent, the service was great, and the presentation was wonderful. I especially enjoyed being able to watch the sushi chef make the sushi right in front of me — it added to the overall experience. The prices were also very reasonable. This time, I had the sushi lunch, but next time I’d like to try the chirashi sushi lunch.
Love Sushi Yoko! The special California roll was great, the salmon teriyaki was cooked perfectly, and the potato salad was so good. I really miss their ginger salad dressing though—it was the best and I hope it comes back. I just wish they had more seating since it’s always busy and sometimes the wait is 10–30 minutes. Still one of my go-to spots!
My husband and I have been coming to Sushi Yoko for years, even back when it was at its previous location. Our favorites have always been the katsu curry and chicken nanban. We had been waiting for months for it to reopen, and we finally came to eat today. It was fantastic! The food tastes the same…actually even better, especially the curry. They said it got spicier, but honestly, it tasted better than ever. And the chicken nanban was unbeatable! We also love ordering the katsudon. We’re so happy they’re back in business, and we’ll definitely be coming often as usual. If this is your first time visiting, definitely try the katsu curry and chicken nanban. I’ve never had anything quite like it in Atlanta. :)
My husband and I did the Omakase dinner experience here and it was amazing! The service is great and the staff is so kind. The food was some of the best I’ve had in / around Atlanta, and it was all fresh. The staff explained each dish, the flavors, and how it works together. If you’re looking for a good place to try real Japanese cuisine and learn about the culture, this is it!
My favorite Japanese gem just moved from Norcross to Alpharetta. This place is perfect for lunch special, and they also have a Japanese grocery where you can get things like snacks, bento box, sashimi, and Japanese wine. My personal favorite dish was the chicken namban. I heard they have omakase for dinner, I will try it next time!
Looking for an authentic Japanese meal, this is your spot. Adjoined to a small market, you can grab one of their lunch specials and then peruse the little store for some Japanese treats. The lunch combo plates are fun, give a lot of options and offer sizable portions. I ordered the fried fish and the teriyaki steak. My wife ordered a roll of sushi and the gyoza. They serve complimentary warm tea on the house. Clean, good quality and value. The only downside was the odor permeating the restaurant and the store. It smelled like a broken sewer or downed pipe. It did affect our experience. I’m hoping that it’s a temporary issue. That being said, I’d still recommend this spot to anyone. It’s clean, the service was good and the food was tasty.
The space is quite small because it shares the space with a grocery store. The food is authentically Japanese, especially their sushi selection. Much recommended to make reservation.
So thankful Sushi Yoko on Holcomb bridge is finally open!!! I have been going there for years so when it closed at the original location I was super bummed. My family and I were sick today and decided to check because we could always use some warm food for the soul. Anyways, husband got shoyu ramen and I got the lunch katsudon bowl it tasted exactly like the old location and hit the spot. So happy!!! Thank you guys!
